God Bless You, thanks for having me, there’s something I want to do and I do it with our Word of Life family, every week… I call it the Warriors Creed...

And that’s because I AM,
A child of God!!!
Joke: The Age of Anxiety
We live in the age of anxiety… There’s a pill for everything.
Everyone is on edge, in search for peace!!!
So a wife called the doctor one morning, saying, “Doctor, you need to come quick!!! It’s my husband!!!”
“What’s the matter?” He calmly replied.
“Well, he got up this morning and took his vitamin pill. Then he took his appetite suppressant, his anti-depressant, and his tranquilizer.“
The doctor kind of puzzled said; “OK, so what’s the problem?”
The wife chimed in; “Im not done yet, He also took an antihistamine and some Benzedrine. Then he lit a cigarette, and well… there was an explosion.
We are living in crazy times, where people are on edge and filled with worry, and stress and anxieties.
Some haven’t left their homes since the reporting began of Covid-19
And so I want to just bring a word of Peace today.
Story: Mama called Me crying.
I told her turn off that news. Stop watching the news.
God already knew this was gonna happen, and guess what? He still sits on the throne.
He’s a sovereign God and has it under control.
The peace of God is what we need, in our lives today.
And the only way to achieve that peace is through Jesus Christ.
This is why so many people are on edge, because without Jesus Christ in our lives, we have no Peace.
Thats why theres so much chaos in this world and in people’s lives because the peace of God is not in them.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
You can only receive peace of mind, when you have Jesus Christ in your life.
The opposite of peace is conflict, it’s chaos.
So if God wants peace in your life then we know that satan want’s to bring chaos.
And so the enemy brings obstacles in our path to cause chaos.
And what happens is we allow these obstacles to get the best of us, and we turn to things of this world or we just flat out quit.
And when we quit we fail to move into the promise land that God has for us.
So I’m here to encourage you on today to stay in the peace of God and do not allow the enemy to throw you into a frenzy.
Stop allowing the enemy to counsel you!!!
We are allowing him to counsel us, when we decide to buy into the storms of life.
Some of us even allow people or family to counsel us, when they don’t even have a relationship with God.
Why do we air our issues out online and ask our ‘friends’ to weigh in on our problems, looking for advice on social media when many who give it don’t even know how to keep their own life in order, but they become an expert on our lives and they tell us what to do and the funny part is…we listen!
I don’t understand why we listen to the enemy or those being used by the enemy, instead of seeking out Christian Counseling or Godly counseling.
Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
The world is not going to give you peace… So why do you throw your mess on social media???
Can I tell you they will probably just make things worse for you. Give you wrong direction.
Go to God with your problems, seek Godly wisdom!!!
I want to take a minute to look at a passage in the Word where chaos was coming...
On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, “Let us go across to the other side.”
And leaving the crowd, they took him with them in the boat, just as he was. And other boats were with him.
And a great windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling.
Has anybody ever felt like you were on the boat of life and everything is good?
Than all of a sudden a great windstorm comes out of nowhere and begins to break our spirit.
The storms of life begin to break us down.
And before we realize it, the the boat is filling up.
For some of us, our lives are being filled with chaos and mess, fears and stress.
And so here they are on this boat frantic and fearful, for their lives.
But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?”
You see sometimes you may be going through some things and it may feel like your about to drown, it may feel lie your about to die.
It may feel like Jesus is asleep on the cushion, but I have got to tell you, that if your life is in him, than you don’t have to worry.
Hell might be breaking loose around you, and everyone around you might be going crazy, but there you are, asleep on the cushion!!!
Listen I would go crazy dealing with the issues of this world if I were to take them on by myself.
And thats the thing, when we run into obstacles, as the children of God we cannot forget who’s in control.
And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Listen when you are going through and breaking down.
I need you to remember these words.... Peace! Be Still!!!
If the world is crashing down around you… say Peace, be still!
When the news is too much for you and you feel fear coming over you, say Peace, be still!
I need you to repeat those words, anytime you feel burdened with the weight of the world and remember who’s in control.
He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?”
Why are you still worried?
Why are you still afraid?
Why are you still anxious?
Why are you still mad?
WHY, WHY, WHY???
Have you still no faith?”
He continues to work on your behalf and we continue to forget!!!
And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
Can I tell you who He is???
He is the only one who can bring Peace into your life and Peace to a nation.
His name is Jesus Christ.
Peace, be still.
